The rock formations of Kapurpurawan is definitely its biggest draw. But before you reach the main prize, you will be rewarded with lots of consolation price because the trail and the landscape going to the Rock is just so splendidly beautiful.

Waters trapped between rocks and bonsai plants sprawling in the area are just some of the things you will pass by. Then, the rocks along the shores honed by time as well as little critters trapped between them are quite interesting. Of course, the supporting cast of sharp hills and its lush greens and the channel of water that runs in there is just an amazing sight to behold. Enough talking, let me just share these:

How to go there? The Municipality of Burgos is about less than two hours away from Laoag and about thirty minutes from Bangui. If riding on a commuter bus, you need to get-off Burgos Highway or ask the driver to drop you off the town proper. On heading to the Rocks, the best way is thru a motorbike because the unpaved road is filled with large, uneven rocks. On a good weather, one may rent a tricycle but still, you need to prepare yourself for a bumpy ride. The tricycle ride will take you about twenty minutes into the jump-off point. But if it rained and the road gets all muddy, you have no other choice but to hike from the highway to the Rocks. After reaching the waiting shed or the jump-off station, you need to trek-down to the Kapurpurawan Rocks on a slippery and sharp surface. You will definitely get your feet wet but then, the view of the place is just so worthy despite of the hardships in going there.
