Baguio City is a city of park. And here are two of them:
The Mansion house served as residents of Filipino presidents and American governor-generals. It's famous for having elegantly structured building and guesthouse. It's gate is patterned after that of London's Buckingham Palace. The Mansion has also been the site of several international conferences and a working office of the President of the Philippines during his visits to the City.
Right in front of the Mansion is the Mansion Park filled with lush greens and pines. Its main features are a shallow elongated rectangular body of water known as the "Pool of Pines" and the park circle which is on one end of the park.
Wright Park, which is adjacent to the Mansion Park, is one of the many scenic parks in Baguio City. It is well known for tall trees and beautifully dressed-up horses for rent.
Riding a horse is a favorite among tourists in this Park. With an accompanying guide, tourists can cruise around the park or even go as far as Mines View on a horse. Just be sure that you have agreed on a rate beforehand to avoid problems later.

ReplyDelete@ alicesg - the cold weather and the fresh air makes Baguio a cool place.
ReplyDelete@ malen - the caretakers said the horses where in no way mistreated or harmed when they are coloured. otherwise, animal activists may picket ion the park.
ReplyDelete@ luna miranda - hmm. a ranch serves that purpose. let us just hope that these horses wear shoes in the concrete.
