This is the second set of the photos I have taken in Ciudad Real de Acuzar located in Bagac, Bataan. This community of restored houses and buildings is spearheaded by Gerry Acuzar who happens to own the famous San Jose Builders. There are more than twenty houses and buildings already restored in the area with few more awaiting construction of furnishings. There are also plans of building a church there to make the community complete.
Oh I'm glad there is a part 2 to this series. The old houses are really interesting. I can't get enough of them.

20 restored old houses!? galing ah! impressive efforts of the local government. it gives us more reason to travel to bataan not just its famous mt samat.

ReplyDeleteI really think we should exert effort to preserve our old house. they make the Philippines unique in this part of the world. they are our heritage.....

ReplyDeletei've been in this place... 5 times already! and everytime Mr. Gerry Acuzar invites our family to come, there is always something new in the place! I so so so love going back to Mr. Acuzar's ciudad.

ReplyDeleteive been at acuzar's thrice and the place is really impressive..the owner s slightly related to my mom and just a ride away from our house so i was expecting to see u there on ur next visit..im an architecture stude but my dream s really to b a lawyer so i wish you can share some of ur insights wid me...
