While on the island of Boracay, Lawstude decided to pay a visit to the nearby Carabao Island in the Province of Romblon. On this and in the upcoming posts, I will share to you the experiences I had and the views I have taken starting with the boat tour around the Island of Boracay and ending with a similar one around Carabao Island.
This is not an island-hopping adventure because the only stops we have made were to and from Bulabog Beach in Boracay to Inobahan Beach in Carabao Island. These photos were taken aboard our boat on a less-than-calm sea, so pardon me if some shots appear to be shaken.
Calirojan Beach
Gateway Arch
Another View of Gateway Arch
Laurel Island aka Crystal Cove
Crocodile Island
BBYC Island
Monkey Head Island

ReplyDeleteGood Morning Lawstude, it is always nice to wake-up and see your blog kasi parang I am traveling with you talaga. I love the beach pictures the most. The last pic is also funny.
ReplyDeleteI love the gateway arch, trip kong magpapicture dun sa may arch ng nakaupo sa tuktok... lol
ReplyDeleteNice looking islands
ReplyDeletelooking forward to see this island as this is the next destination for people who want a less-busy-boracay-like island.
ReplyDeletekeep it coming bro.
Amazing shape of the rock in that last shot!
ReplyDeleteCalirojan Beach looks most tempting as an escape destination for this snowy Toronto resident. Loving Monkey Head Island too!

all shots are so lovely, you can't go wrong with Islands, especially The Philippines!

Monkey Head Island looks tough to get up on. Unless there is a beach on the other side I assume you need a ladder.
ReplyDeleteHow idyllic! love these, thanks for dropping by!
ReplyDeleteparang far far away island talaga :) (maybe it really is). Parang mabangis na gorilla yung monkey head island. will be waiting for more photos :)

ReplyDeleteWith 7000+ islands, you will never run out of material. And what beautiful material you keep showing us.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty photos of the litle islands. Hey, the gateway arch looked a little like the elephant trunk hill in Guilin, China. Cool.
ReplyDeleteI've been hearing a lot about Carabao island. At buti napuntahan nyo na pala sya. Looks like a promising place. Gusto ko yung mga rock formations na pinakita mo
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful island i would love to be there right now. Thanks for your visit and sharing your part of the world
ReplyDelete@ coldman - yup, pero wala naman daw monkey doon.
ReplyDelete@ vanessa - thanks. your comment just made my day. have a nice one too.
ReplyDelete@ bry - talaga? medyo mahirap yata gawin yun bro pero kung kayo mo bro sulong lang hehehe. salamat sa pagbisita.
ReplyDelete@ borneo falcon - indeed. thanks.
ReplyDelete@ the dong - thanks bro. there is an on-going plan to build an airport there. more on this on my next posts.

ReplyDelete@ larry d - me too. thanks for the visit.
ReplyDelete@ sara g - thanks and take care always too.
ReplyDelete@ fickleminded - you bet. but a plain platform and a calmer sea would definitely help me get a better shot lol.
ReplyDelete@ robert v. sobczak - too bad there is no beach on the other side. the "head" is a cliff'like structure there.
ReplyDelete@ kyliem - thanks and welcome to my blog too.
ReplyDelete@ allan barredo - pag maganda raw panahon, carabao island is just an hour away from boracay, kaso medyo maulan at malakas hangin ng pumunta kami so it took us about two hours to go there.
ReplyDelete@ denise - you are welcome and thanks too.
ReplyDelete@ ewok1993 - thanks. and i haven't even been to half of it.
ReplyDelete@ alicesg - thanks, some of these islands are inhabited but most are not. never been to china, the islands there must be fascinating too.
ReplyDelete@ ferdz - yup. medyo masama nga lang panahon so i was not able to explore the entire place. hopefully next time.
ReplyDelete@ lilli and nevada - thanks. just happy to share these.
ReplyDelete@ ailee920 - i love the original the most.

ReplyDeleteI missed this when I was in Bora, yes, I have seen this island across Bora but missed getting there. I can only take shots far away, and when we had our island hopping in Bora, i just had to firmly hold my kids as the seas weren't that calm near the other islands.

ReplyDelete@ sylvia k - you are very much welcome and thanks too.
ReplyDelete@ sheng - that is true, the impending typhoon that time did not help me either. it would be nice to go back there in summer.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit. Thanks also for sharing your archipel with us. I see many islands in the Philippines when I look at Google Earth. I have never been there, but my father often came in Manilla, when he was travelling on his ship to China and Japan. You have a beautiful country, that's certain!
ReplyDeleteNice Island it's beautiful.Great picture I love it.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing and also Thanks for visiting my world.
Calm sea or not, it's wonderful. It doesn't look THAT rough, anyway. And the color of the water is perfect in any weather.
ReplyDeleteWow ! I would love to go there too, there are so many beautiful places in the world !
ReplyDeleteL, this is a beautiful tour, the photos came out great. I love the monkey head the best!
ReplyDeleteoohhh! wow! simply ahhhmaazinng! ganda diyan kuya!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your blog. Your pictures are wonderful. Monkey head island is so cool. We have a rock outcropping in the Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore in Lake Superior (Michigan, USA) that looks like the head of a Native American. They always joke on the boat tour that you can tell how deep the water is because he's in it up to his neck.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and commenting on my blog. You mentioned you had never heard of "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer". I'm not really surprised as it's a novelty song and extremely irreverent. If you really want to hear it, it's on YouTube.
Packing my bags...what a paradise!
