The Plaridel Church more popularly known as Saint James Parish Church is a 400-year old parish church. It is the main tourist attraction of this quiet municipality located in the province of Bulacan. The Church boasts of an amazing interiors and a bell tower known as Simborio. A catholic school with the same name is also located within its vicinity.Here are some shots I have taken of the Church:

1. masarap ang chicharon nila
2. magaganda ang kababaihan nila
seems like "Bisita Iglesia"..these are great ideas for the readers, somewhere they can go in the Holy Week..another picturesque images attorney!

ReplyDeleteI'd visited several churches in Bulacan in 1997 and the one that I can't forget is the Malolos Cathedral. Then I was using a film SLR and wasn't able to develop the film when I ran out of budget. I wasn't able to have the photos printed until I lost those films in 2002. Sayang talaga :(
I enjoy the photos and stories you shared here and very much thankful for it.
I thank you too for frequenting my blog. I'm presently in a place with a very difficult Internet connection. Still, I'd try my best to get online every once in a while.

ReplyDeleteI love the shots of the details. The one of the Pieta (Mary and Jesus) sculpture really spoke to me. I like the lighting on that one.
bakit kaya kapag pumasok ka sa loob ng simbahan e hindi mo makikita ang mga detalye na binibigay ng mga asa larawan? ilang beses na akong nakapasok dyan pero ngayon ko lang sya talagang napansin! alam mo dito sa oyropa, karamihan ng simhahan e bawal magkodakan sa loob pero sempre, marami pa ring nag kokodak :D

ReplyDeletest james parish church/ plaridel church was inspired by baroque architecture and those thick columns you said is quite similar to st. agustin church in laog .That column is known as flying buttresses.
