There were twenty-three entries that particiapted in this year's Float Parade. Some of them, including my favorites, were already featured in my previous posts. And to wind-up with the Panagbenga Float Parade, here are eight more eye-catching entries of floats substantially made from flowers:
More on the Grand Street Parade on my next posts.

You sure do have a great vantage point. You were high up there! I wish I had the zeal to wake up earlier. haha! We couldn't find a nice spot anymore. It really pays to wake up early. Great shots!!! On your previous post, I love the clown juggling... galing! I obviously didn't catch that anymore.
ReplyDeleteThe floats are really colorful specially the float of Purefoods. I agree with most of the comments here that the flower parade can really rival those flower parade in other countries. The Baguio weather is really fit for that kasi if that will be held let say in Manila where the heat is unbearable, I am sure the flowers won't last that long.
ReplyDeleteMasyado na talagang commercialized and festival hano? Pero come to think of it, sino ba naman ang mag spend ng fortunes just to built flower floats kung wala naman sila mapapala di ba? So these corporation and commercial entities really make use of these festivals para naman mapromote products nila. Win-win situation yun para sa lahat.

Mainit na rin ngayon sa Baguio, di tulad dati kahit summer eh nilalamig ka pa rin..
Nice! Hmm, majority nga product endorsements. Sabagay, pag parade maraming tao, so effective din yun in terms of making people see your products...
ReplyDeleteang cute ni mr baboy, the mascot. hehe...
