I think I might have enjoyed this place too much. Because looking back at my files, I have noticed that I have taken very few shots of this beach. Usually, whenever I go to a place like this, the first thing I do is survey the place and then take shots after shots for about an hour or two. But this time, maybe because of the heat, the long ride, and the inviting beach, the first thing I do was take my shirts off and plunge at the Puting Buhangin Beach. The downside is, I have enjoyed myself too much that shooting photos have to take the back seat.
Puting Buhangin literally means White Beach. It is one of the famous beaches dotting along the coastal towns of the Quezon province. It is located at Pagbilao Grande, Pagbilao, Quezon near the Pagbilao Team Energy Power Plant. The white sand beach stretches for about 70 meters long and 10 meters wide. It has fine white sand reminiscent of Boracay and a crytal-clear and calm waters enclosed in a cove. There is a minimal entrance fee of Ten Pesos per person.
Here are some shots I can share on a trip with Dong Ho and Pat's Group.

ReplyDeleteI have been to this place for so many times...kasi Pagbilao is my hometown eh eh,hehehe...the place is just perfectly our version of a beach used for the movie, "the beach" by Leonardo di Caprio. FYI, puting buhangin was used as one of the settings for the movie, ang pinaka magandang hayop sa balat ng lupa (gloria diaz) after she won the Ms universe title.
