The province of Biliran is an island paradise waiting to be explored. It used to be a sub-province of Leyte until 1992 when it became a full-fledged province. Known in the Eastern Visayas region as a province of so many Waterfalls, I wasted no time in checking out the place when the opportunity arise.
To start this Biliran Series, let me show you the majestic Tinago Falls located in Caibiran, Biliran. Tinago literally means hidden but this falls ain't really hidden 'coz it is very accessible and barely a few minutes walk from where our van was parked. In fact, the place is so developed with cemented stair trails making it the most visited Falls of Biliran Province. Here are some shots I have taken of that awe-inspiring waterfalls:
Tinago Falls
Cascades Between Rocks
Biliran's Most Visited Falls
The Main Falls and the Cascading Mini Falls
Swimmable Pool
Picture-Perfect Boulders
Strong Force of Water
A Sight To Behold
Into the Open River
Instructions on how to go to Biliran, their available accommodations and contact persons in my next posts about the province. For now. let me just thank Sherwin of the Provincial Tourism Office who accompanied us to this Falls.
