If you are looking for the best view on top of the world and wild horses, then Marlboro Country is the place to go. Located in Lamagan which is on the western part of Sagada, the place is one of the highest points of Sagada.
Like most of the attractions in Sagada, a trip to Marlboro Country required an accredited guide. So, the Tourist Information center provided us one. We rented a van that took us to the foot of the hill on a rough, stony path. We then trekked for about thirty minutes to reach the summit of the Lamagan.
The views from there are simply spectacular. The bright, clear sky complemented the greens of the place. Rolling hills and a view of a community below is such a delight. Too bad, we didn't see any wild horses but we saw and pass by several of their droppings :). But nevertheless, the view from there is more than enough to make this trip worthwhile. Here are some photos I have taken from the place:
Come to Where the Flavor is...
Rice Terraces and a Small Community Below
The Hills Are Alive.....
Adrian : Walang Ganyan Sa Canada
Benj in the Blues
Daniel Doing The Jump
The View that Will Make Me Go Back to Sagada
