There are times in life that seem to stay with you. Moments in places that seem to have the power to make life stand still... to linger... and to remember. For me, Paradise Beach is that place on earth... from the fine, white sand that tickles the feet, to the crystal, clear water that seem endless as far as the eyes can see... from the rhythm of its tides to the feeling of serenity... this is the place where I want to be. If quiet enhances thought, this is the place to indulge in a little reflection.
The serene town of Santa Fe in Bantayan Island prides itself with some of the best beaches not only in the province of Cebu but that of the entire islands of the Philippines. I am lucky enough to visit all of them and I will start this beach-hopping adventure with one of the best beach in the island fitly named Paradise Beach.
Paradise Beach is a rugged stretch of white sand in the south-east part of the main island. This precious small jewel of Bantayan Island is secluded and surrounded by gorgeous turquoise waters. There are no major accommodations on the small beach itself but within a distance is the Ogtong Cave Resort where its beach front connects with Paradise Beach. During high tide, the patch of beach submerge into the sea creating a pool where beachcombers can have fun in its shallow waters. But come low tide, the place is just pure bliss for weary souls to delight in.
Gorgeous Turquoise Waters
Rocky Isles meet the Sea
The Whitest Sand on a Shallow Shore
Three Shadows on a Blue Horizon
Tropical Hut
Crystal Clear Waters
Probably the Best Place to have a Snack
Paradise Indeed
