Calaguas Morning

Imagine this... waking up to the sounds of the waves gently going back and forth in the shores. Then slowly stretching your body feeling the cool breeze of air coming from the hills and valleys. Then inch your way to the shore as the fine white sand trickle at your feet and the gentle waves wet you feet but just ankle deep. No crowds, no deadlines, no rush hours, no work... but just the presence of glorious natural bliss.

Mahabang Buhangin (literally translates to Long Sand) is Calaguas' most sought after beach destination. I tell you, I have been to so many beaches in the Philippines but this one would definitely rank high on my list. The long-span of immaculate white-sand shore is perfect for just about any beach-bumming activity from the rugged to the most laid-back. The beach here is simply perfect and conducive for swimming because fine sand extends beyond the shores and you will not hurt your feet with rocks or corals because they are almost nonexistent within few meters from the shores.

I just love this beach...and the best part is... I am not imagining this...

  1. absolutely gorgeous beach. hayy, this is heaven--i want to go there! hindi ba pang-extra challenge papunta dito? i don't want a repeat to my Caramoan trip na ang hirap marating.

i could be the only person in this beach and i'd be perfectly happy!

  3. Did you write that on the sand? Parang sulat ng babae. =) Joke. I am thankful to travel blogs that feature I-have-never-been-to beaches. It bridges the gap of means of exploration for me.

  12. This sounds like a most idyllic beach, a wonderful respite from the frenetic pace of life so many of us deal with! It must be a well-kept secret since it appears that there are almost no people there! Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend.
