Pasko sa Pasig: Christmas Through the Eyes of a Child

It's the time of the year when treats of sights and sounds fill your senses. It's when lanterns fill the street and carols fill the air. Not to be left behind by the festivities is the City by the river that is Pasig.

The front of the Pasig City Hall lights up with animated doll displays for the Pasigeno children to see. After all, the theme this year is "Christmas at Through the Eyes of a Child". The City Mayor stressed in the inauguration of the diorama that the theme for this year reminds us to look through life through the eyes of children, that with all the challenges of the past year and the uncertainty of the future, there is always something bright to look forward to. Christmas time is about hope and we wish that through this show, we can impart optimism to our residents.

The animated display will run from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. everyday until January 2, 2011. Here are some pics"

  6. That's definitely Tinkerbell, not an angel. Those are fairy wings and a green fairy costume that can only be Tink's!

It's nice to see the COD Christmas tradition being revived elsewhere in Metro Manila!
