Twenty Five and One @ EDSA

Twenty Five and One... Crowds gather at the busiest highway in the country while I am finilizing some documents that need to be submitted on this same day.

It was exactly twenty-five years ago when the world watched a peaceful revolution that dethroned a dictator. A President of three decades succumbed while a plain house wife rose to power. And twenty-five years later, her son, became the President.

As I see it from my window, a crowd mostly wearing yellow shirt filled what used to be a busy intersection of cars and buses. The all-to-familiar "Magkaisa" - the unofficial EDSA hymn reaches even the heights to where I am.

And twenty floors above the crowd is where I am. Occassionally glancing at the crowd below while finishing a very hectic deadline. And yes... it has been one month now since I have started this new job.

Twenty five means 25 years since the People Power Revolution and One means 1 month in my new job.
