I have been to Daet, Camarines Norte thrice. And in all those travels, never did I miss snacking on their famed Toasted Siopao.
A twist to the usual Steamed Siopao, Daet's Toasted Siopao is a pandesal with pork asado fillings. It is best served hot and toasted and perfect with any pansit or congee. Large pieces usually cost Twenty Pesos while bite size ones cost about Seven Pesos.
Go try it when you visit Naga.
We go to this siopao house in Chinatown, New York that sells siopao in brown buns! But it's not pandesal!
ReplyDeleteWay to make the siopao even more Pinoy!
Mmmmmm!! Looks delicious to me! Guess I'd better get something to eat! Enjoy your weekend!
