"Sometimes, it's the company and not the destination" is all the remarks I can make out of this trip. Maybe because it's not as idyllic as some of the beaches I have gone before, (see my entry here) but still, this place could still be a welcome respite to a weary-soled corporate slave like me.
A beach is a beach no matter what. And since Nasugbu is quite easy to go to plus the problems of commercialism and the ever unendearing lack of discipline among beach-goers which results into trash and litters everywhere, this place seem to be not too idyllic like the rest of them.
Grayish-black sand and somewhat murky-waters will give you second thought on whether to swim or not. However, a mid-surge of waves makes this place good for novice surfers and wade boarders. Here are some shots:
Looks like a terrific place to me! Sounds like you're ready for some vacation time, Oman!! Awesome capture! Have a great week!

Trash, they breed sore eyes!
ReplyDeletei was in a couple of company outings in Nasugbu, the beach was not exactly on top of our itinerary.:p but there are coves in Nasugbu with white sandy beaches, i believe they were privately-owned. also stayed a few times in Tali but i heard the white sand there was not natural.:p
go farther, farter away from people to find better beaches :(
ReplyDeleteNice to go to the beach during this hot weather. Lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteNice beach you got there, but I agree with you, it is unlike those wonderful beaches you have visited. Pero okey na rin, it will do!
ReplyDeleteas long as there's a good wave, ubra na jan! gsuto ko magsurf!
ReplyDeleteThere are other places in Batangas that are worth visiting. Laiya is one.
ReplyDeletethis works for me. i think there are so many world class beaches in the country that this place is not as appreciated.
ReplyDeletei havent been to nasugbu in years! im actually checking it out now. gusto ko lang tumalon sa cliff. haha
ReplyDeleteang lugar kung minsan di na importante basta masaya ang mga kasama. gumaganda na rin pala alon diyan.
ReplyDeleteWading has fast becoming popular. I tried it once in Boracay.
ReplyDeletePwede na rin basta ok ang mga kasama.
ReplyDeleteI an not much of a beach person but wading and wake boarding looks fun.
ReplyDeleteI love it when I'm on vacation since I feel relax and calm. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi there. I've been eyeing this place for a while now. Looks potentially like a good surfing spots. How were the waves when you went there and what season? Thanks!
