the day of words...

Whatever words we utter should be chosen with care for people will hear them and be influenced by them for good or ill.

I was awaken by the non-stop ringing of my celphone. Half-awaken, I thought it was just my alarm but the sound was different and I have realized it was a phone call. I checked to see 3 missed calls from a friend so I called him back. He delivered to me the news that a friend of our suffered a stroke and died. I checked my fb to see some condolences and prayers posted on our friends wall with most comments taken by surprise of the suddenness of events.

Although he was not a close friend, I started reminiscin' about some good times we had and started thinking of a good thing to say about him on his FB wall. But just as about to write some sort of a memoriam, he posted a WTH message on his wall. Apparently it was just a prank. He was alive and well and quite surprise himself. He slept fine and he woke-up ok and was amazed at all the hoolaboolas that happened while he was sleep.

We are still finding-out on who started it but for now, we are just happy that he is alive.
