Glass-like Waters |
"I love the beach". But you know that already so let me rephrase. "I love hanging-out on the beach". I don't like to swim or ride on a boat. I don't like to play with waves or build sand castles on the shore. But I love the beach, err, I love hanging-out in the beach where I stare at the sea all day and watch the sky with the sun setting or rising into the sea.
I love hanging-out in the beach so I love hanging out at Alubihod Beach. I did not swim or ride a boat. I did not play with waves or build sand castles. But I still love hanging-out at Alubihod Beach where I stare at the sea all day and watched sunset until the night ends and watched sunrise the day after. Ahh... I love the beach.

Coconut Tree at Alubihod Beach |
The most popular resort in Alubihod Beach is Raymen Beach Resort (033-3960252/09185207271). This resort dominates Alubihod Beach and goes crazy on weekends with picknicking families and non-stop karaoke. I have checked their rooms but did not like it. The nipa huts style-rooms are far from private while the air-con rooms are very plain and have a motel sameness.
My accommodation of choice there is Jannah-Glycel Beach House (033-5821003/3963430/09292816498/09202712836/09173273735). I love their room because it has everything you need to relax from its is so homey with queen-size bed, modern bathroom and aesthetically placed paintings and furniture. It also has beautiful garden and a nice piece of beach all its own. And if you love dogs, this place is perfect for you. I do recommend this place.
Hope i would be able to visit the place one day
ReplyDeleteWith the way you are traveling these past days I am sure mapupuntahan mo agad ito panyero :)
DeleteI like the second photo the most. Guimaras is now on my bucket list.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kiko, glad you like it.
DeleteDidnt know guimaras has this alubihod beach. Sayang! Ang ganda ng sunset!
ReplyDeleteThe best sunset talaga dun is in Guisi Beach pero ok na rin yung colors na naform sa Alubihod :)
DeleteThis place is beautiful and so soothing to the eyes.
ReplyDeleteHi Vanessa, thanks :)
DeleteWow love the shots, just like you I love the beach but I don't swim too hehehe
ReplyDeleteHi Missy, mas narerelax kasi ako na tingnan lang yung beach eh pero minsan pag di maiiwasan lalo na kung may kasama eh naglalaro din sa tubig :)
DeleteMe too...love a beach..but prefer a quiet one!
ReplyDeleteThe main beach of Alubihod can get rowdy but there are certain parts of it that are away from the crowd and perfect if you want to relax and be left behind.
DeleteI'm in complete contrast with how you enjoy or love hanging out in the beach. Well, perhaps my negation of how you enjoy it comes from the fact that I practically grew up near the beach or the sea. Unlike you, I love boating and catching fish, playing anything funny with cousins while swimming and etc.
ReplyDeleteFor me, a beach experience would not be totally complete not doing those things I've mentioned (for those that allowed -catching fish) Like when my wife and I had our honeymoon in CLUB PARADISE in Coron, I got the chance to go fishing around 5am catching Lapu-Lapu. It was an awesome experience I must say.
I guess I have to admit that it might come with age lol. Before, I woud love to play with the beach but now, I find it more relaxing to just sit in the sand and wait for the sun to set :)
DeleteMy idea of beach bumming would be swimming and playing on the beach early morning then sun bathe until the sun is still forgiving. Then take recluse on the shade or maybe have someone massage me in the sand. Sand castle building is a must for me too as well as burying myself in he sand. Then finally, watch the sun set and call it a day.
ReplyDeleteThat used to be me. Add a decade and let us see haha.
