Misty Boulders |
Boulder Beach Valugan is just a short bike ride away from Basco Proper. It is known for its smooth boulders that line the beach which stretches for miles with big waves crashing on them. Interesting to see here is how the smaller pieces of stones seem to gather at the right end of the beach while huge boulders dominate the center and the left side of the beach. Because of the big waves crashing on the boulders, this beach is no place for swimming or even surfing. However, visitors here really won't mind because they would probably just enjoy the unique seascape that this beach offers. The best time to enjoy the place is during at sunrise.

Just passing thru, Lawstude!
ReplyDeleteHi BlogusVox, Thanks for passing by :)
DeleteStunning captures, Oman!! Such a dramatic vista!! No, I wouldn't be tempted to enter the water there, but I would love to see it!! Hope your week is going well!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sylvia, dramatic is an understatement for the place is really brimming with beauty.
DeleteAwesome photos!
ReplyDeleteThough the beach isn't suitable for a dive or swim, yet seeing these photos and how you describe the said subject is proving to be a worthy visit. Seascapes, I marvel at them - the horizon where the earth, water, and sky meet is just fantastic.
Just today, I watched the second part of their Batanes and now wonder in the coming days, this place will now longer be short of visitors as they will flock the majestic island province to experience the seemingly extremely interesting spots there. Once again, you made me full by just reading your entry. Thanks as always for giving us the best of Attly. Oman's travelogue.
Thanks Jay, the Boulder Beach of Valugan is very much different from the rest of the beaches I have gone to but it has become one of my favorite. Thanks for the nice words.
DeleteCORRECTION: I watched KrisTV's second part of their Batanes escapades and no wonder
ReplyDeleteHave you watched Byahe ni Drew? Their latest feature was in Batanes. Teka, is there a Pinoy TV there?
DeleteI know Byahe ni Drew but I don't usually watch it on TV, I usually do watch online as there is no commercial breaks lols!. Yes, there is Pinoy TV here. TFC, Kapatid and GMA
Deleteone can easily enjoy the water by sitting on the rocks and waiting for the waves.

DeleteBeautiful place and the beach is smoking.
ReplyDeleteSmoking effect due to the mist of the waves.
Deletehow I wish I could be there too. Need to save more. :)
ReplyDeleteThere are lots of ways to save on a trip. Book ahead for a flight and do a DIY travel. Research and ask travel bloggers for tips. I would be happy to give one in case you push through with it.
