Where Has Kaiz Been Lately? |
Having traveled Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Nepal and Singapore, to name a few, Kaiz got loads of photos to choose from when I requested her to join "Selfie Sunday". But the photo above stands out because she knows that there are only few blessed people who who have done something like what she did last September of 2013.
Per Kaiz, "This photo was a shot from the base camp of the tenth highest peak in the world, the Annapurna in the Himalayas region of Nepal. It was summer that time yet the mighty Annapurna was still snowcapped and the view from its foot was nothing but breathtaking. It took us seven days to complete the trekking activities and I'm willing to do the whole nine yards just to experience that again."
Her thirst for the mountains and those off-the-beaten paths is what sets Kaiz apart from other Pinal Travel Bloggers. She aims to help other travelers by sharing stories of her trips , either mountaineering or just plain vacation, through itineraries, contact
persons, and photographs she features on her blog "Where Have You Been Lately?". She her blog out.
How wonderful to be able to travel like she has/does!! Great post for the day, Oman, as always!! Hope you're enjoying your weekend!!

DeleteUy Nepal, one of my dream destination because of the Everest and now this mountain.
ReplyDeleteMy only recollection of Nepal is their one-of-a-kind flag because it is not the usual rectangle shape. Now, Kaiz made me aware of the mountains of that beautiful country.
DeleteThis is a beautiful shot with very vivid contrast of green against blue. And she is lucky to have climb that mountain too.
ReplyDeleteI know only few bloggers who have accomplished what she has done that is why I highly regard Kaiz for her mountain escapades.
DeleteKaiz is such a sojourner and happy at that. To take a selfie in one of the highest mountains in the world is a feat few people can dare to do. Traveling and sharing stories is so fun. God bless her and more travels to come for her.
ReplyDeleteI agree Jay, her feats and accomplishment in mountain climbing is something to be proud of.
