Kirk is an anatomy explorer, but he prefers discovering the anatomy of the world rather than the human anatomy. He is a registered nurse but rather than nursing patients, he opted to first nurse culture, tourism and traveling. When asked to join Selfie Sunday, Kirk cannot decide on a particular photo so he decided to share three.
Kirk says "When visiting such historical and ancient places, I make sure that I pay tribute and connected to it by at least wearing a piece of their traditional attire. In Borobudur I wore a Javanese hat called ‘blangkon’ and a cut of sarong. On my visit to Seam Reap I bought traditional pants and wore it during our Angkor Wat Tour. In Laos I garbed a full-sized sarong throughout our whole day bicycle tour around Vientiane."
Do check out his Philippine Anatomy and Beyond blog where Kirk showcases his wonderful travel adventures and his pursuit to visit all the 81 provinces in the Philippines. His blog has awesome images too featuring beautiful landscapes, rich culture and heritage, colorful festivals and culinary treats.
