As the popular song goes "The snow glows white on the mountain tonight, not a footprint to be seen.A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I'm the queen." Err, make it a "king", for whenever he travels, Mark Rodel dela Rosa, or simply Mark, feels like he is king of the world.
On weekdays, Mark is a programmer working as a web developer for a global law firm. But on weekends, he turns into a backpacker, hitchhiker, adventure seeker, travel blogger and a photo enthusiast.
He loves traveling but due to his corporate commitments, he has to balance both worlds. And whenever he has time for vacation, he sees to it that he maximize the time given to him. That is why, Mark metamorphosed into a kind of traveler that tries to fit multiple activities in a single day. He believes that no time should be wasted while on the road.
The fascination for snow is what made Mark shared the photo above. He adds "I'm sharing with you my favorite selfie taken at Seorak Mountain in South Korea. I picked it because there are priceless memories attached to it. It's where I first experienced snow. It sounds superficial, but the experience actually made me write a "letter" addressed to snow. Haha! Here is a also a short Instagram clip of me playing with snow."
So, let it go, let it go... and if you can't hold it back anymore, click on Mark's blog Kurtzky and read his travelogue of his journeys across the Philippines and neighboring countries, which he amply describe as stories mixed with a pinch of an awesome weirdness and a dash of awkward craziness.
Sounds wonderful to me and what an interesting post for the day, Oman!! Thanks for sharing your friends adventure!! Hope you are enjoying a great weekend!!
