This Sunday's featured blogger is among the country's most popular travel bloggers and needs no further introduction. His blog, Nomadic Experiences - Narratives and Images of Being on the Road, has constantly been nominated and won in several award giving bodies such as Globe Tatt Awards, Bloscars Skyscanner Travel Awards, Philippine Blog Awards and The Travel Bloggy Awards to name a few.
Highly influenced by Jack Kerouac's novel "On the Road", Marky started writing "Nomadic Experiences" almost seven years ago as a medium to narrate his own experiences in traveling. From his first back-to-back foreign trips to Malaysia and Singapore to his local cultural immersion and escapades around the Philippines, Marky's stories will surely inspire you to grab your backpack and just go.
When asked to describe the Selfie Pic above, Marky narrates "I like this selfie I took in Sabtang Island in Batanes. It shows me seated at the ledge overlooking the scenic waters and rolling highlands. It was taken late in the afternoon and the contrast of the remaining daylight and the darkening sky projects a silhouette of myself that resembles Jude Law. Yes even in shadows I still look like a hollywood actor. I'm motioning sort of "down" with something, to sound like a revolutionary lets just say I'm trying to say "down with the sickness".
As of this writing, Marky is currently enjoying his adventures in Sri Lanka and like most of his avid readers, I can't wait to read his narratives and images of being on that road.
Popular guy. Heading to his blog now.
